Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Cert Made Easy (“the Service”), operated at certmadeeasy.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Cert Made Easy (“we”, “us”, “our”) is based in the United Kingdom. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The service
Cert Made Easy provides an online platform for practising certification exam questions with AI-powered explanations. The Service includes free sample questions and paid question sets available for one-time purchase.
Practising with our Service does not guarantee that you will pass any certification exam. Our questions are exam-style practice and may not reflect the exact content of official exams. What we do guarantee is a refund if you practise seriously and still do not pass - see Refund policy below. That is a promise about your money, not about the outcome of your exam.
Independence and trademarks
Cert Made Easy is an independent study tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any certification body or exam provider whose exams we cover. All certification names and trademarks belong to their owners.
We name certifications and exam codes only to identify the exams our practice material helps you prepare for. That use does not mean any certification body has reviewed or approved the Service.
Accounts
You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Purchases and payments
Some question sets require a one-time payment. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD and include applicable taxes where required.
Upon purchase, you receive lifetime access to the purchased question set for your personal use. “Lifetime access” means for as long as Cert Made Easy operates the Service.
Plans. Some sets are sold in two plans. Essentials gives you the set’s core questions. Complete gives you those plus the additional Complete questions, including any we add later. The page you buy from shows how many questions each plan has. If you hold Essentials, you can upgrade to Complete at any time for the upgrade price shown.
If you owned a set before its Complete plan launched, or bought it during the launch offer, Complete was added to your purchase at no cost, and it stays with your purchase for as long as you keep that purchase.
Refund policy
Pass guarantee. If you answer at least 50% of the questions in a set you purchased before you sit your exam, and still do not pass the corresponding real certification exam, we will refund that purchase in full. Email [email protected] with your official score report from the exam vendor, within 60 days of your exam date.
Practising a set before sitting the exam is the condition of this guarantee, not a reason to deny it - the practice has to be what you prepared with, which is why it counts up to your exam date and not after it. There is no time limit from the date of purchase - certification exams are routinely booked months ahead, and a refund window that expires before you sit the exam would make the guarantee meaningless.
14-day refund. Separately from the pass guarantee, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, as long as you have answered, or viewed the answers to, fewer than 25% of the paid questions in the set. Study mode counts as viewing. Paid questions are the questions that are not part of the set’s free sample, so questions you used for free never count against you. If you are unsure, email us.
Plans and upgrades. In the pass guarantee and the 14-day refund, “the set” means the questions in the plan you hold: the Essentials questions, or all of the Complete questions if you hold Complete. An upgrade from Essentials to Complete is a separate purchase. You may request a refund of an upgrade within 14 days of buying it, as long as you have answered, or viewed the answers to, fewer than 25% of the questions it added. A refund of your Essentials purchase includes any upgrade bought on top of it. Under the pass guarantee, we refund everything you paid for the set, including an upgrade.
UK and EU customers. The law gives you 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. When you buy on our website, checkout tells you that your access starts straight away and that this ends that right to cancel, and your receipt confirms it. You can still use the 14-day refund above, on the same terms as everyone else.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies; contact us and we will support your request, but we cannot issue those refunds directly.
A refunded purchase no longer unlocks its set. This applies to every refund, including those made by Apple or Google. Your practice history is kept.
We reserve the right to decline refunds where there is evidence of abuse - for example, repeated claims across many sets, a score report that cannot be verified with the exam vendor, account sharing, or answers that are not genuine attempts at the questions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, redistribute, or resell question content
- Use automated tools to scrape or download questions
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to circumvent payment or access controls
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with the operation of the Service
Intellectual property
All content on Cert Made Easy - including questions, explanations, AI-generated content, design, and branding - is owned by Cert Made Easy or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Certification names, exam names and other third-party trademarks are not ours; they belong to their owners (see Independence and trademarks above).
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the content for your own study purposes. It does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate explanations and study assistance. AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes and may occasionally contain inaccuracies. We do not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated content and recommend verifying critical information with official documentation.
Availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cert Made Easy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, with or without notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
